My Department is delighted to support this practical initiative which aims to draw people into this vibrant town for a great night out. I would encourage all cultural venues, artists and businesses to engage with this new platform to showcase what Sligo offers. I hope this initiative and others being developed by the NTE Advisor will help to drive and support a more sustainable Night-Time Economy in Sligo”.
Liam Kiely, Acting Head of Enterprise said that “Local Enterprise Office Sligo are delighted to be part this new initiative as part of the Sligo Night Time Economy Project which is being delivered through Sligo County Council and Sligo BID. This website will be a great source of event information for locals, visitors and tourists to our beautiful town. The Sligo County Council Tourism section will also be incorporating this into their new digital strategy to promote all night time economy attractions and activities.”

Respondents to our public survey said one of their key challenges to engaging in events and activities in Sligo town was not knowing what was on. This website is to help solve this and connect event and activity organisers with their future audience members.
